- Complete Trainings Level I-VI (including the ethics module).
- Demonstrate proficiency in basic shamanic journey work (upper and lower world) including power animal retrieval, divination and assessment journeys for a client. This can be demonstrated to me with a client or in a group setting. Documentation of additional or separate shamanic training will be considered to waive this requirement.
- Document facilitating 5 collective Energetic Origin-related intentions (with two or more people) to begin after completing Level V Training.
- Demonstrate proficiency in facilitating the release of an earth-bound spirit. This can be demonstrated to me with a client or in a group setting. Documentation of additional or separate shamanic training will be considered to waive this requirement.
- Facilitate one DEH™ session with a client (90-minutes to 2-hours) in front of Howard Brockman.
- Document having facilitated 50 DEH™ sessions to begin after completing Level V Training.
- Document having received 20 DEH™ sessions (private sessions with Howard Brockman can be included, even before completion of Level V) to begin after completing Level V Training.
- 18 supervision DEH™ sessions with Howard Brockman (in person or over the telephone with audio cassette, digital file, or DVD of session provided to me prior to the supervision session). These will typically be 90-minutes long.
- Purchase and read the following books (more may be included over time):

- Invisible Heroes; Survivors of Trauma and How They Heal by Bellaruth Naparstek
- Creating Right Relationships: A Practical Guide to Ethics in Energy Therapies by Dorothea Hover-Kramer with Midge Murphy
- Energy Medicine by Dona Eden
- The Enneagram Made Easy by Renee Baron & Elizabeth Wagele
- The Shaman’s Body by Arnold Mindell
- The Way of the Shaman by Michael Harner
- Submission and approval of your Informed Consent form.
- Strong recommendation that you join ACEP, a worldwide professional organization with growing recognition in the psychological community of their qualifying standards. You can enhance your professional image and increase your knowledge of energy psychology by becoming a credentialed Diplomate or Certified Practitioner via ACEP’s own certification program.
- Strong recommendation that you establish an on-going spiritual and/or energetic practice such as qigong, tai chi, regular shamanic journeywork or meditation/yoga.
- Annual renewal fee of $25.00 to begin 1-year after completion of Level VI Training.
- Completion of additional 3-day Training in All My Relations protocol when offered. Note: This and any other additional continuing education is required to maintain certification. This particular training will not be required in order to become certified since you may complete all other requirements before this continuing education Training is offered.
- A 4-hour ethics course approved by DEH International™ every 4-years.
