Contact Me About Self-Care Workshops or Seminars

Howard Brockman, LCSW, DCEP is available to provide you and your organization with workshops or seminars that will accommodate your budget and your clients’ needs. Self-care is becoming increasingly important for caregivers and helpers in all professions as the pace of life increases. Burnout and vicarious trauma are unfortunately all too common consequences for the caregiver and helper. Physical illnesses, often regarded as stress-related, are becoming all too common. These seminars provide current up-to-date research about the many and various hazards challenging helpers. They also provide powerful and effective tools that participants can use on their own after the seminar.

Helpers and caregivers constitute a wide variety of professions. Some of these include the following:

Howard Brockman has been a presenter at organizations and international conferences since 2000, including the National Association of Social Workers, Oregon Chapter, the Oregon Professional Counseling Association and the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology.
