Dynamic Energetic Healing
Events

The annual Canadian International Energy Psychology Conference will be held this year in Toronto, from October 15-18, 2009. As is the case with the annual North American ACEP sponsored energy psychology conference, continuing education credits will be awarded for social workers, counselors and psychologists. It's a great way to get inspired, learn new ways to apply energy psychology into your own practice, and meet like-minded people that you can begin to establish ongoing relationships with.

I will be giving a six hour Pre-conference workshop on Thursday, October 15. The topic will be Integrating Core Shamanic Practices with Energy Psychology. During this workshop, I will be elaborating from my starting premise that truly rapid and transformative change does not occur unless and until there is a constructive altered state of consciousness that is experienced by the client.

After reviewing how different therapeutic modalities attempt to create these therapeutic altered states, I am going to provide an overview of the skill set of the shaman and provide many opportunities for participants to actually learn and practice a shamanic journey. I will be demonstrating how shamanic healing occurs when one of my compassionate spirits becomes merged with me that enables me to become the conduit of the enormous healing power always available in that other dimension referred to as non-ordinary reality. I will talk about how my trainees learn to integrate second attention awareness and actually bring in their own power animals and guardian spirits to affect transformative change within the psychotherapy context with their clients.

It is my intention that by the time we are finished with the workshop, every participant will have acquired their own power animal (and/or guardian spirit or teacher) and begun to establish a bond with their new helper that will develop over time for personal healing as well as for alleviating the pain and suffering of their clients.

If you've always been curious about shamanism but for one reason or another, never made the time to pursue it, this will be a wonderful learning opportunity to get a crash course with good supervision in a safe and energetically protected environment.

On the following Saturday, I will be giving a breakout presentation entitled Expanding the Frame to Working with Collectives: Energy Psychology with Couples, Families and Groups. During this 2-hour presentation, I will be both explaining and primarily demonstrating how Dynamic Energetic Healing is used to rapidly actualize intentions when working with couples, families or larger collectives such as therapy groups.

Please consider coming as there will be many fascinating breakout sessions, as well as some really exciting keynote presenters including Donna Eden and Joe Dispenza, DC who is featured in “What the Bleep”. For more information on the conference, please go to www.epccanada.ca.
